Autumn Term
Autumn has been a very of busy term for P4. We have worked so hard and have enjoyed learning lots. In literacy, we have been exploring recount and procedural writing. We particularly enjoyed baking Honey Biscuits and writing the recipe for Mr O’Neill. In maths, we have looked at place value, addition and subtraction, shape, money and multiplication to name a few things!! We have loved learning about World War 2 as part of our World Around Us topic. We really enjoyed making electrical circuits when we were learning about the shortage of electricity during the war. We tested materials to see if they were durable and waterproof to help us build our own Anderson Shelters. To end our World War 2 topic, we created VE Day party invitations and rein acted our own VE Day party to celebrate the end of our topic in style!
We are now looking forward to Christmas and we cannot wait to take part in lots of Christmas crafts.
