Frequently Asked Questions ...further clarifications regarding Restart Plans
A few clarifications to ensure a safe start to school.
Thank you to everyone who has downloaded the restart plan. To date, it has been downloaded over 300 times!
Clarifications:
TISSUES
1.Individual pupil tissue boxes and hand sanitisers will be kept in school.
2. Anti- bacterial wipes are for table surface cleaning and will be kept in school.
WATER BOTTLES
3. A Refillable water bottle can be used and will be taken home each day.This is the only item that will go home, and so should be cleaned thoroughly each day. OR
4.If you would prefer to send in a single use plastic bottle, each day , this is also acceptable and will be recycled accordingly.
EQUIPMENT
5.No school bags, pencil cases, stationery or lunch boxes should be sent into school until further notice, in order to minimise cross- contamination.
6.Pupils will be provided with individually labelled transparent folders with all necessary equipment provided by the class teacher.This will be cleaned on a daily basis.
UNIFORMS
7. Full school and PE Uniforms are being rotated to allow parents the opportunity to wash the uniform on a daily basis, to reduce risk of cross contamination.
COATS
8.A coat can be worn to school and taken home each day. This should then be quarantined for 72 hours and a different coat used for the next day.
P1 INDUCTION TIMES
9. P1 Induction Times are group 1 at 10:00am and group two 12:30 pm on Thursday 27th or Friday 28th
10. The restart plan will be reviewed in line with statutory guidance as provided by DOH and DE and altered and updated as required.
