May the 4th be with you !
4th May 2020
Dear Parents and Pupils ,
Welcome to week seven of this very peculiar school term. I am sure everyone is very glad of the lovely weather to get outdoors to burn of lots of energy. I have a few things to catch up on with everyone.
- Thank you to everyone who has been participating with the online learning opportunities over the past seven weeks. The enthusiasm at the start was really noticeable and it has waned at times, which is understandable. To date, approximately 85% of pupils have engaged with the online learning opportunities, so well done and keep up the good work.
- The uptake on paper copies has been very much appreciated by the P1-3 pupils and parents , as they are more manageable for the younger pupils, as technology can be tricky.
- A few pointers - please ensure that you keep up to date with the see-saw app communication from the class teachers and share work with them on this app, as the teachers can monitor progress and give feedback and support.
- PLEASE NOTE : The home-learning packs and online activities are to supplement.
- I hope pupils living in the BT4 area have received their home-learning packs.
Additional Activities
- Please complete some art work ,poems, short stories and pictures for the local care home project (see previous news item)
- P5 - P7 pupils can participate in the TenPieces@bbc.co.uk
